11211 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda,
MD) at
8:15am Aug. 18, 2002 and
start to hit the road at 8:30am.
You can park your car there and
car pool with others if you don't want to drive. Please be on
time.

Activities involved:

We will car pool and drive
to the beach, which takes two hours and half. Once we get there,
we can play cards and volley ball on the beach, swimming or enjoy
the sunshine. We can also go shopping in the outlets. It's tax
free. Please respond and update the table with the headcount.

need share the gas with other riders in the car.

What you should bring?
You can bring some water, beach cloth (if possible), beach
shorts (for swimming), some food (we still need either go out for
lunch or buy some food), your favorite sunglasses.
FINAL NOTICE & DETAILS |
The weather will be good on Sunday, high at low 90, a little bit cloudy. We will have nearly 30 people. This is the one of biggest outdoor events after last year's shananton park hiking. We will surely have enough fun on the beach. Others who decided to go with us or signed up but I didn't include in the list below, please contact me. Drivers below please also have my cell phone. Special thanks to Tang for picking up other guys in the early morning and still meet us at Tilden MS.
I have the details below:
We will have the following people grouped by car pool, the names below will be the driver:
1) Shan, Jun (3 other guys)
2) Liu, Xiaojina (2 others)
3) Yang, Guang (his family)
4) Tang,zhenyi (4 people and 4 seats available to Lu Hua couple, and Hong Weimin )
5) Shen, weiping (his family)
6) Wei, John (one friend, Wei Hongxing couple)
Issues:
1) Meet and Drive on the road
We will meet at 8:15am Sunday morning at tilden MS. The address is posted in http://soccer.jjwei.com under event section. We will start to it the road at 8:30am. Shan Jun and Yang Guang can go directly from VA. Liu Xiaojian, please meet us in Tilden MS in case we need the space in our car. Each car should have a navigator to help navigating and contact other cars in case of getting lost.

3) FOOD and DRINK
Please bring some food for lunch or road travel as well as enough water for yourself. Lu Hua volunteered to prepare a big noodle meal. I have
been missing it since the beach event last year. I will prepare two big watermelons. riders better have something to treat and amuse your driver well and
remember to share the gas. If you have a big cooler, please bring it.
We will have dinner together before driving back or when we get back.
4) FUN things on the beach
I will bring a soccer and volleyball. You can bring other things if you want. Beach cloth, POKE, etc.
5) TIPS
a. better not wear your contact lens since you might get sand or salty water into your eyes.
b. wear sandal or slippers
c. bring some cash and your credit card (very good outlets there for shopping)
d. bring enough water for yourself
e. sunblock will definitely be a plus
f. a towel to dry yourself after getting out of water or shade yourself
g. swimming shorts, bikini for ladies.
